Description: ABC Nevada Apprenticeship will have ABC Nevada Instructors, ABC Nevada Leadership & ABC Nevada students on hand to give you a tour of our state of the art apprenticeship facility as well as an introduction to the ABC Nevada State & Federally approved Apprenticeship Programs in Electrical , Sheet Metal, Low Voltage, Carpentry and Heavy Equipment Operators.

Tahiti Village Career Fair
Description: Tahiti Village will be hosting a career fair on February 15th, 2022 from 10:00am to 6:00pm.
Clark County Summer Internship Program
Description: Students are provided internships in a variety of fields including law, medicine, engineering, education, recreation, information technology and communications. In addition, some businesses may opt to extend the students’ internship and/or offer bonuses. Participating students will be hired by Clark County Government and will be paid $10.50 an hour to work eight-hour days Monday through Wednesday. As part of their internship on Thursdays, interns will learn about financial management and life skills through virtual seminars. Additionally, all participants may be eligible for college scholarships at the close of the program. Current high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors who are at least 16 years old by June 6, 2022, with at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA are eligible to apply.
We are asking for your assistance in identifying these bright and talented students within CCSD by allowing us to participate in your College & Career Fair or through classroom presentations. We would also appreciate you posting the attached flyer on your bulletin boards and/or including it in your announcements.
The online application to apply for the internship is currently available on the Clark County website: www.clarkcountynv.gov under Human Resources/Job Opportunities until 5 p.m., on Thursday, March 3, 2022.

Lifeguard
Description: Lifeguard Staff has started lifeguard classes for 2022. Every year we train about 350-400 lifeguards. We teach the classes on the weekend to get students certified fast and speed up the hiring process. These jobs pay $12- $14
